God forbid tech employees are idealist when they need to push company value

It used to be so idealistic that he was a r/Jailbait mod and no investors saw that as toxic until newsmedia publicized that

Not anymore though. Right, Spez?

Idealism is out the window and he's cracking that whip

Modern internets wild, just built off ppls contributions for free, they get all the money and control, we get to do free labor and get told how we're lazy

Attitudes like his are the reason reddit is dying. Sure, the users are there but the soul is gone.

Lmao and now reddit hasn't made anything of significance since thePlace. Literally couldn't name a single change or update that means anything. They're just removing stuff and adding colorful pantaloons for your imaginary alien

That was back when I wanted to be a redditor....

For those who haven't heard, Digg is poetically making a comeback, with a team-up between Kevin Rose and Alex Ohanian no less. They bought Digg back a couple months ago and are going back to something closer to the old Digg.

How so?

His departure from Reddit in 2020 preceded the major API destruction that pretty much falls exclusively on Huffman to my knowledge. As a bonus Ohanian to his credit on leaving:

On June 5, 2020, Ohanian resigned from Reddit's board, asking to be replaced by a Black candidate in response to the murder of George Floyd.[2] Days later, Michael Seibel, an African-American entrepreneur, was named a Reddit board member.

Hes a creep, nothing else. Creep that got lucky and got his business "partner" to commit suicide so he can own everything.
