Gtk Themes for Flatpak Apps

If I have installed flatpak gtk themes from flathub, what do I do, so that my flatpak gtk apps can use it? Is there any command line action or anything that can be done by using flatseal? I am using i3wm on Ubuntu 24.

On GNOME you set the GTK theme using Tweaks or Refine (Tweaks is preinstalled most of the time but Refine is a newer replacement that's a lot nicer to use). Using one of these two will probably work on any other desktop or WM too.

just give them permission to the appropriate xdg config dir that has the gtk themed in it

IIRC I had to keep xsettingsd running in the background for my system GTK theme to be applied to Flatpak apps so maybe that's what you need?
