About the only thing I've watched this week was "The Martian". Great movie. Immediately went out to find the book. The book's even better.

I'm glad you're enjoying it. I personally felt that the book really fell off in the last 1/3. It's like the author really wanted to wrap up and was against a deadline so just started shoving things in and going "Eh, whatever, good enough." I thought the ending was especially painful to read.

I've been watching a documentary about how we in Denmark don't jail people who have an iq under 70. There's a closed living facility with 5 care people for each person who's been sentenced to live there. They are considered not intelligent enought to realized the things they have done and is s danger to them selves or other citizens. Very cool documentary, you get to follow a bunch of people and see how they change as time goes on. And it's not shot in the visual American style where they have to dump a bunch of cliffhangers in. It's down to earth and feels very honest

I watched the three Spider-Man movies from the 2000s for the first time. They were pretty decent, and now I understand all the memes.

Watched The Fugitive last night. First time seeing it and though it was great. Some of the special effects aged well, some... Did not.

My wife and I watched a classic noir film: Double Indemnity (1944). As expected, it was great.

Cassandra on Netflix. A German serie about a householding AI that has some oddities and a mysterious past....

Pretty enjoyable.

Ooh, I need to get back into that. Watched season 1 at someone else's place a couple of years ago and forgot about it. I love Bitsie Tulloch. She's also awesome in Superman & Lois.

Finished Jujitsu Kaisen with my son earlier this week. That was a pretty awesome show. I'm trying to share in his interests and anime is one of them. Tried getting through Death Note..but had to stop because a scene became so unbelievable that I couldn't stop laughing and asked that we stop the show. We picked up where we left off on Demon Slayer which is the new season. Never thought I would watch anime but it's been pretty fun so far.

A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night

Easily my favorite black and white Persian language vampire western. I can feel how much the filmmaker loves David Lynch and films in general, and I love that about it.

I binged the first season of North of North. Comedy about a modern day Inuk woman living in her very small town in Nunavut. Reminiscent of parks and rec but not a mockumentary style. A bit cheesy at times but tons of potential and touched on some really important topics. Love to see indigenous representation.
