I have to say I was excited when Pikmin Bloom came out but the game felt too passive and repetitive to me, so I stopped opening the app about a week later. Recently retried and same result.

Are you guys still playing Pikmin Bloom?

I enjoyed it but I fell off regular use over the winter and haven't touched it since, maybe I will this summer

I am, but there is practically no crossover between what makes Pikmin great and what I like about Pikmin bloom. I gave it a chance because Pikmin, but I keep it around because it’s a cute pedometer that encourages me to walk. A mobile Pikmin game to fight bulborbs and scavenge breadbug nests and drag around carcasses would be so much better…

Been playing for almost a year. They've introduced a dynamic that some like, others dislike: there are seasonal pikmin and they get a buff for Mushroom attacks. Hard to get complete collections and that's put some people off. Kind of pay to play vibes.

But servers need some $, so I understand some of this.

I played it daily for the first year then just kind of stopped. I did like how it doubled as a mental health tracker.
