This little Barn Owl is 9 years old

In my language we call them Church Owls instead of Barn Owls because they nest in churches a lot.

Yeah, Dutch animal names can be very different and sometimes just outright weird. Like the Dutch word for Wolverine is Glutton!

These guys always seem to be especially photogenic to me, at least if you like the Tyto owls!

Church Owl is a great name too. Besides living there, the whiteness feels more the color I'd expect at a church than in a barn. They look like little angels to me, though I hope that's not how angels sound when they sing!
