I normally get about four years or so out of an iPhone, with heavy and extensive daily use - works out as less than 50 (US) cents a day. I used to pay more for a newspaper.
I only made the switch when BlackBerry OS10 “failed” and they quit making handsets. I still miss my Z30 though…
Yeah but I can buy something that 95% of the same for half the price. The added features are novelty, by the time they get to mid range there is actually use cases for the common man.

thats why i went for OP12r, cant justify even sites that sell phones 2nd hand, they are sitll expensive, especially with Pixels.
