I feel like this is a pretty common trope in a lot of stories involving immortals.
Mind sharing some? I'd love to check them out, seems intriguing.
Well.. I love 'The Wandering Inn', it's a webserial and one of the main chars is a pretty good example of this. A dragon who sleeps centuries away and gets nothing done.
There's definitely a lot more, but I haven't slept and my brain isn't working.
