It's all good! Actually the only way I've figured out how to do it is by posting the link through the Connect app. Luckily there are a bunch of apps under development for Lemmy and the site itself is under development so we should see everything get much easier soon. I hope one of them will be specially designed for bunnies but we'll see!
If you're enjoying lemmy try out an app, I find the native website kind of ugly and hard to use personally. There's vger.app which is just a fancy web browser app or there are quite a few available for both iOS and Android through their app stores.
