Is it, though? The horses probably just trampled all over Humpty Dumpty, and THAT'S why he couldn't be put back together.

So you’re saying the horses should have been used to hide all evidence of the ineptitude of the men.

That works too.

It's a neat story really. A castle cannon that was lost technology, people knew how to fire it but not how to build one or repair it.

This is an old Far Side from the early 90s.

I liked this one. The ending was unexpected and made me laugh. Even while typing this comment, I laughed again. I must be the drunk king.
