Let’s skip the negative/horror stories and focus on the good, wholesome, and funny stuff for once
One time I was on the Green Line out of the loop to Forest Park (when I lived there), this homeless lookin dude steps between the cars into mine. It was rush hour so fairly packed. He starts preaching
“Let me tell you the story of how I found Jesus!”
“I had the life. I had it all! I had the women, the house, the cars. I made a million dollars!”
“Then I lost it all. I hit rock bottom. I didn’t know where to turn, I thought it might be the end.”
“And that’s how I found Jesus. He saved me. And he can save you too.”
Someone from the other end of the car goes
“Yeah that’s great but how did you make a million dollars?”
Whole car erupts laughing. Dude turns around and goes back to the other car

My first experience in the CTA was taking the train from the airport and some dude walking through the cars saying, “I got that gas” immediately followed by a cop who followed him from car to car. I just laughed.
