I make a key lime cheesecake, maybe that's what they're thinking of

i do mock astonishment. "key lime" can be put anywhere i guess. key lime pie is the only context where i've had it, and maybe some weird candy

a desert baker - corn or whatever, this is where i need to learn

a dessert baker - the chill pastry dude from The Bear

a decent baker - i pretend the broiler setting is a toaster and I definitely do not start a fire

I'm sorry but key lime is a real low tier dessert. You want giga sour cheesecake? If I just had a meal, I would prefer some nice garlic bread.

Hard disagree. A sweet and tangy custard pie? Nice and cool, especially if it's served on a warm day? Yes, please!

I love garlic bread. It's great with a meal. But if it's what's for dessert, I will pass.
