I will measure the swords when I get home

They are taller that the mg itself.

Banana for scale

That is amazing. I’ve only built one MG so far and it blew my mind how big he was.

I started out building RG but they just seemed too small to be appealing to me. I’m very happy with the 1/100 scale.

I enjoy HGs because I can knock them out in a day. But like they aren’t nice enough I want to display them, and while I do paint Warhammer I haven’t dived into painting a Gunpla yet, which could really increase the desk appeal of a HG.

I built the Zeta Ver Ka and loved almost every second of it. Been wanting to get another 1/100 kit since.

I would look into getting a light box. It's a quick and easy way to up your photo quality. I made mine out of white foam board and hot glue. If you want to spend a bit more, you can get a LED light panel for more consistent illumination. There are probably quite a few more simple things to up your picture game, but I am not a photographer.

I would get a light box but I live in a small apartment and space is a big issue

They make collapsible light boxes. You could also just use a cloth as a backdrop.
