Chelsea think that because they pay crazy amounts to buy players they can also ask for crazy amounts when selling

He still has 2 years on his contract. It's made out to be more urgent than it really is. Chelsea is under no pressure to sell at a low price.

Two years is pretty short, though. No player of his calibre with only one year remaining will get a good fee.

But still Chelsea is under no pressure. And if he has a good season under Poch it wil be a win win. Can always sell him next year. Also if he fits in well this season, can always extend.
