Bit rich of the times to reference one of their other games. Fortunately mazing and genus were enough of a clue that I got the others without knowing the category, although slid --> solid took me a minute to figure out.

Really only got purple and blue through process of elimination. I saw purple as words that meant great or the like. So managed to eliminate those that didn’t seem to fit. Spelling Bees aren’t really a thing in the UK, so didn’t know them as ranks.
