You say that like they aren't already trying that crap. The media has been pretty damn happy to take photos and videos of the damage caused by the riot gear-wearing faction and implying it's caused by rioting protesters.
Well, yeah, that makes sense if you look at it a little like this: to distract from the possibility that the bromance divorce will devolve into corporate leaders (the government is a corporation) Elon and Donnie taking pot shots at each other using their space lasers trying to turn the other into a smoking greasy splotch on the earth. Or shoot their respective aircraft out of the skies over deep parts of the largest bodies of water. James Bond Supervillain-level stuff here. We’re not meant to see those machinations.
