‘It’s terrifying’: WhatsApp AI helper mistakenly shares user’s number

holy shit. if the meta-AI actually has access to the user database of whatsapp, thats a 1000x better reason to ditch whatsapp (and meta) than some ads in their shitty "stories"

Most likely the LLM just hallucinated the number, and, given the popularity of the app, that number is also connected to WhatsApp. It's no different than sending a message to a random phone number.
