Are they updating the steam paid version/graphical addon to SDL2 or is this for the classic version? I always thought the non graphical ui ran on ncurses or something. The paid steam version is relatively new, would be surprised if it has been running on SDL1 all this time.

I would assume the steam version is running SDL and that they would like to do a cross-platform release at the same time as they upgrade to SDL2. Not sure what the classical version runs to be honest nor if this will affect it.

Awesome. I am waiting for that before diving back in the game. Also hoping my old fort from when the steam version was just released gets a nice fps boost
