If I were China I would tell him to pound sand since he's been being bellicose about china in the panama canal. Also they're friendly with Iran so Iran could just let chinese flagged ships through and attack anyone else.

Every additional step in the supply chain increases the price since everyone adds their own margin, and at some point it becomes more expensive than oil alternatives (for example, bio-plastics). Anyway, if China started reselling the oil then Iran would stop letting them through.
