The backslash didn't work for wavy line NSFW

When I try to make a wavy line exist, I will do like this: \~Testing\~ And that didn't work for me. But \*Testing\* works. Why? Can someone fix this?

If you want ~ you can just use it as is e.g. ~Testing~ no need for escape.

I mean if they moaning (NSFW), they will express by a text like this: "H-Haaaah~... ♥" But they moaning uncontrollably, the wavy line will multiply and creating unexpected crossline one

Nevermind, I got it.

Consecutive ~ will do that e.g. ~~Test~~, you can maybe just add a space or reduce the number of ~.
