Oh no, it did not work. Is it not possible to post GIFs on Lemmy via direct link to the giphy image using markdown syntax?

It's working for me using Thunder on Android and through the web browser on both Lemmy.world and Lemmy.ca

Some apps/front-ends struggle with rendering all of Lemmy's markdown properly, that might be your issue?

This might be it, thanks! I am using Sync and it is showing me a "This content is not available" GIF dummy.
