About mint, not sure if you are memeing, but those who make the decisions are stuck on having a Windows environment. Not my decision to make at all, but I have tried to pitch it in my head. We have some in house software that can possibly be ported. Office looks like it could be provided as a web app. There are a few other applications we seem to be stuck with as well.
