Perched in Still Light

I believe this is a female Blue Dasher dragonfly (Pachydiplax longipennis). I spotted her during one of our morning walks a few years back.

Probably just a bit of luck. I do tend to shoot with the widest aperture possible—unless I’m trying to shoot through or past foliage. I also touch things up a bit in post.
