Agreed. And as such, there needs to be a clear and concise plan on what comes next, and not just calls to fund vote blue PACS. Protests are a great first step, but they are a first step only. There needs to be calls for a general strike and the forming of a party that actually represents the people.

@Mustakrakish There has been a study (from Harvard I think, quoted by Robert Reich) that to make things change you need the involvement of 3.5% of the population. In the US, that’s 12 millions people. We are still under that level of deep involvement. I hope you can reach such a level ! ✊

Interesting to hear a more exact qualification like that. All about organizing at this point! I was out doing my part at Pride, raised over $1000 for fighting funds and helped promote a public meeting on what to do next. Not a lot, but every bit helps! People can get involved locally even in small ways that helps immensely. Look into local orgs that always need support. I would just personally avoid orgs that are too focused on changing the democrats, since thats a losing battle and your efforts are better focused on reaching your neighbors than spinning your wheels in that rut.
