I used to shrug when lesser teams (like Liverpool) claimed 'We won't get a penalty at Old Trafford until hell freezes over'.

After last night's decision to deny Wolves a last minutes penalty for Onana's assault on their centre-forward, I might have to change my mind.

@andyc I remember seeing an interview with Mark Clattenburg talking about some high profile games and simply admitting to stuff that people always suspected.

Stuff like realising you've got a call wrong and hoping for an opportunity to 'even it out'.

Made me reconsider how many bad refs there must be out there.

Unless he's a wild outlier... It's possible, since he's an absolute bellend, but unlikely.
