The US is already behind China on EVs. Done and done. When the president of an US automaker would prefer to special order a Chinese EV than drive his cars then we are done.

Came here to say this! It's laughable to think the US could fall behind C hina. The US is at least 10 years behind C hina in pretty much any category. To believe otherwise is to believe propaganda.
