How does sending more troops to Russia benefit North Korea?

From what i understand they get live experience and those that come back alive can train the rest in more modern warfare.

Trade people for weapons/logistics. Less starving mouths to feed.

If I remember correctly they got a lot of oil for the first wave, as well as technical assistance (it was rumored) for nukes.
