@root42@chaos.social hah! I remember this. I had a Game Gear, the Master System adapter and a U IV cartridge... but even in my early teens my eyes weren't up to all that small text. And after about 10 mins you had to pop another 4 AA batteries into the Game Gear anyway

There is Lunar, which is a JRPG, but quite different in style and scope from Ultima IV… and RPGs are not the biggest genre on the GG anyway…

Are you able to get the enhanced versions to run on your system? Because over the years, fans have polished the existing art, added new art, made bug-fixes, and even a utility to tweak your character info such as to help get through the boring, repetitive parts.
