The fuck we have to be proud of nowadays? We are indistinguishable from the original Cyberpunk rulebook in terms of institutional power and behavior. You get nothing as a US citizen except a guarantee to not be bombed by the US as their masked agents drag you out to a country you've never been to. Theres nothing to be proud of here. We lost any vision we might have had for the future. All we are is empty.

I’ve been ashamed of my country since 2020. And I haven’t had a sense of pride since Bush Jr. And even before that, when I thought we were basically an ok actor, I still hated the state on principle.
