Left a month ago. It took the November election to move my whole family. Life is good but I still can’t stop doomscrolling US news and mourning in silence.

Nothing will make me leave, I will sit on this sinking ship and when it falls I will fight for my local socialist militia (I live in New York)

I'm currently visiting Brazil for the second time, already making plans to come back and live here. Find a fully remote job, sell off what I don't need, anger my mother in the process. It's a big, big change, Brazil isn't perfect but at least there's good food and fiance's family is very welcoming towards me.
