I keep talking about my fledgling Red-bellied Woodpecker but I finally got off my duff this morning to photograph this sweet baby
My heart is broken into pieces, my friend & bird guide of many years that i shared many adventures with, most recently in Panama, has died, it just doesn't seem fair -- he was much younger, i just assumed he would always be there & we were already talking about the next trip...

Sorry to hear you lost your friend and bird guide. May you find another birder looking for a travelling companion, one with whom you can share stories from the trips with your friend.
