Last month, Lee introduced a now-removed amendment to Trump’s policy megabill that mandated the sale of up to 3 million acres. It did little to address the challenges of building affordable housing on public land.

there is zero chance that will do squat. 99% of what would be built are "master planed communities" starting in the $500's
or condo developments near ski areas. Also some new "resort communities" with vacation rental ready houses starting in the $750's

And where does the WATER come from? These sites may be public land (belonging to We The People) but NONE of the areas have water reserves to support a significant population.
