The Terminator (1984) - so many gremlins!

I just caught the last hour of The Terminator on HBO 2, channel hopping on a rainy afternoon, It’s been 41 years since I first (last) watched it.
I was surprised to see so many AMC Gremlins in the film. They caught my eye because I owned one in 1984! Reese steals a Gremlin and escapes with Sarah from the police station. The terminator collides with a Gremlin just before the tanker truck explodes. There is a Gremlin on blocks at the Mexican gas station where Sarah stops to refuel in the final scene. Perhaps there are more, I didn’t see the first hour, but IIRC, there were a lot of car chases and a lot of cars. I’ll be paying attention the next time I see it!
