I prefer the American way of imaging year round what a vacation would be like.

The article is about summer vacation for schools. In the USA this is typically about 12 weeks long.

I'd rather 6 weeks over the summer and then extra weeks added to other shorter holidays

So why do I prefer the six-week option?

Well, first, it’s better educationally
