I'd fallen into the habit of quick-and-easy cooking (or eating out) since my last major depressive episode. Today I felt inspired to make some pizza from scratch. Cooking does wonders for the soul.

Here's a shot of the undercarriage. I'm really happy with how this crust turned out.

Nice. I like serious eats' cast iron pan pizza recipe. We use storebought dough and it's still great.

Nice. Am envious of that bread - my dough-from-scratch usually turns out like a loaf, completely wrong for the task at hand.

Very photogenic pizza! Very similar to what I make. Do you use a pizza stone?

No, I do have a pizza steel but sometimes I'm too lazy to use it. For this one I just used a Lloyd pizza disk in my kitchen oven at 550° F. Honestly I'll never make a hand-stretched crust without using a pizza disk again, but I probably would get better results using it in conjunction with the steel (faster bake, less dry crust).
Thank you for the compliment! 😊
