I find it funny that this is a surprise to anyone, given the cloud act from trump's first term. It's literally the reason behind this 'revelation' in the French courts.

I am happy this happened so soon. Hopefully less money is spend for no reason trying to make it seem like data is safe from non-European actors. Money needs to be invested ASAP in european data centers owned by european companies.
