Which part is the wheels, and which part is the grandmother?

SatansMaggotyCumFart@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 1y (5 replies)

It’s missing the ham and peas that a true carbonara should have.

If my grandma had wheels she would have been a bicycle!

If my grandma had wheels she’d be the fastest prostitute in her nursing home.

Traditional Roman carbonara actually has no ham or peas - just guanciale (pork cheek), eggs, pecorino romano, black pepper and pasta, anything else and my Italian freind would probably throw his nonna's wooden spoon at you.

Akasazh@feddit.nl · 2 pts · 1y

That way you'll have war (with Italy) ánd peas.

Just for the record, look for Luciano Monosilio on Youtube and how he makes carbonara.
