Driving examiners in Great Britain urged to offer ‘formal’ or ‘chatty’ tests

They should offer more tests and finish the back log off first. Then they can be chatty as much as they fancy.

I had a really chatty test, it was great.
It doesn't sound like a bad idea. Some people would prefer a more human experience test, and others would prefer a more "exam conditions" formal one.
