56 degrees? Are you looking to die?

TabbsTheBat@pawb.social · 36 pts · 1y (4 replies)

It's in the weird US units. That's 13°C for reasonable people

marble@sh.itjust.works · 38 pts · 1y (1 reply)

Either that or it's a climate change thing and it's just a few years too early.

TabbsTheBat@pawb.social · 10 pts · 1y

Certainly how the weather feels sometimes lol

I think you'll find that Farenheit was a German Pole

TabbsTheBat@pawb.social · 4 pts · 1y

And I think you'll find germans no longer use that measurement system ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

They said "crisp", but I think you need to go higher to get that real crunchiness

jaybone@lemmy.zip · 6 pts · 1y

I think we call those “chips” in freedom potatoes.

Wow, posting a Fahrenheit post while EU is awake and the US is sleeping, OP has balls

56 degrees with a sweater and standing in front of the oven would probably kill you, but hey Kaley whatever makes you feel alive.

zero_spelled_with_an_ecks@programming.dev · 3 pts · 1y (5 replies)

I still stand in front of the oven for a moment after taking stuff out of it when it's over $90°/€32° but I get popsicle toes at $76°/€24°.

BootLoop@sh.itjust.works · 3 pts · 1y (4 replies)

Sorry what are those units?

zero_spelled_with_an_ecks@programming.dev · 9 pts · 1y (2 replies)

Oops, forgot the extra $ for $$°, the double dollar degree. The other one is the more widely accepted Euro degree, though some prefer degrees sterling, £°.

BootLoop@sh.itjust.works · 1 pts · 1y (1 reply)

Is that supposed to be fahrenheit and celsius? Because my country uses $ and celsius so I'm getting confused.

zero_spelled_with_an_ecks@programming.dev · 3 pts · 1y

Sorry, yes, you are correct. There's usually a stink made whenever fahrenheit is used so I was just being playful with that.

You might not die immediately but you certainly will have that crispy flaking skin after. There's also a high chance for a fire with those candles as it must be really dry.

Blackout@fedia.io · 4 pts · 1y

And what comes after those perfect fall days Kaley? It's not toyotathon I'll tell you that much.

Drusas@fedia.io · 1 pts · 1y

Why would you need fall-scented candles in the fall?
