Gulls Flying Away

This is a photograph of five laughing gulls (Leucophaeus atricilla) flying away through a blue sky. They appear loosely stacked from the bottom left to the upper right, like a diagonal trail of motion. It gives off a feeling—oh, I don’t know—maybe something like freedom or departure. Like they’re headed toward infinity. Or beyond. 😆
