That's because Online Safety Act wasn't actually meant to protect children from porn - it was meant to force identity verification on the internet so that dissenters and protesters can be invigilated and arrested before they band together. Also to create a chilling effect and make people afraid to speak their mind online, since it's linked to their identity.
I'm still waiting on some hard data that shows that porn causes actual harm. We seem to legislate on the assumption that naked people are inherently a problem. If another adult wants to tell me what people shouldn't be allowed to look at they'd better have some fucking science on their side.
I stupidly kept watching the Facebook reels feed after my mum sent me a funny dog video, one more dog video then 3 videos that were pretty much softcore porn.
