This morning feels like walking into a coffee shop, joining friends at a table, and just staring at your cup. Though in reality, I’m already on my second. This is the third time I’ve tried to start writing—the first two were so blah … blah, I scrapped them entirely. It’s shaping up to be that kind of day unless I find a way to kickstart my brain. Coffee doesn’t seem interested in helping. It’s a walk day, maybe that’ll do the trick, assuming I don’t wander into traffic. I might just circle the yard counterclockwise three times, mumbling something indiscernible. Who knows—maybe I’ll accidentally conjure some motivation.
