Two arrested at Micah Beckwith town hall in Newburgh; woman tackled by sheriff's deputy

There had been shouts throughout the evening about Beckwith evading questions. At one point, Beckwith's response to a question on CenterPoint Energy included a nod to the Democratic Party's acceptance of transpeople.

"They think boys can be girls and girls can be boys," he said.

Audience members shouted him down.

"Stay on task," one yelled.

Southwest Indiana is about as far from a bastion of leftism as you can imagine. The fact that people are unhappy with the Lt. governor there seems pretty telling to me.
