I once took a piece and polished it up into a vaguely knife shape. Looked cool as hell, but was not exactly easy. The stuff loves to fracture and splinter
Yeah, i would never attempt to shape it more. I'm totally afraid it would just crumble. It wouldn't even be close to useable.
Super brave of you to try that. Although I bet it did look pretty awesome.
Sometimes I think of trying to shape other stones, especially ones that have already broken, but with my hoarder tendencies, im scared I would break it more and be left with nothing.
