Next they're going to state that BGP and IS-IS are useless protocols that only exist to make routers expensive and you don't really need them "because you can just point a default route to your upstream provider" 🤦♂️
@licho@mikrotik@mikrotik.social@mikrotik@lemmy.world I still wonder why we didn’t just add another number or two to IPv4 addresses. Google could have grabbed 8.8.8.8.8.8 for their DNS and nobody would be complaining about using it.

I need a version with IPv4. IP-Addresses are not meant to be shared! IP-Addresses are not meant to be scarce resources.

wait until you (and your servers) get placed in a subnet with limited IPs and you can't even ssh because IP conflict

Ipv6 breaks url spec. Puts colon as a separator. It's an absolute disgrace.
