hey, I have a post that's showing couple hundred more points and sixty more comments when I'm not logged in to this instance. I have another account on dbzer0 that doesn't have the same issue. Is this an eccentricity with federation?
some comments are actually arriving in my inbox a day late

Sure, this is the first one I noticed it on. I should clarify though that it isn't just when I'm logged in, it's when I view the post from leminal.space.

Thanks for the link and for reporting the issue. It's definitely a problem with federation - specifically with lemmy.world, which started lagging behind almost two days ago. I have restarted the server, hoping that helps, but so far it hasn't. Other instances are federating to us okay, and nothing was changed on our end this week, so it's possible something triggered this on their side. I'll speak with their admins to see if we can resolve it and keep you posted.

The connectivity issue with LW is resolved and we are catching back up on their sent activities - currently about 400k activities behind, but we should be up to date in maybe 6 hours or so. You can check under Lagging Instances here to see our current status.
