My guess is the difference between I'm hot and need to cool off vs. you're using cold water and torturing me.

We use soap/chemical free shampoos and try to make it enjoyable with a massaging mitt. She's fine once the cold water has stopped.

Just what comes out of the hose and she's too big for the tub in the house. I need to check the local pet shop that has baths and see if theirs is heated, at least during the winter.
