Stumbled across this gem produced by the U.S. Army Pictorial Service back when the original Nazi scars were still bleeding.
It talks about the tricks Nazis used to get to power, the tactics of division and suppression they have used, the fate of those who follow Nazi footsteps, and what needs to be done to stop them.
Truly a brilliant piece.

Yeah first saw this on Reddit in 2015. No one listened and I seen it many times since. Great film shit should be taugjt in schools. Instead....well I don't know it's not good.

"But in this country, we have no 'other' people. We are American people, all of us."
I feel like this is the thing that USians seem to be forgetting (or ignoring).

They said that 15-20 years before civil rights, and before the longest filibuster to block civil rights. The country has never been together. There have always been "othered" groups.

It's a known flaw in the national identity. Unfortunately it's like herpes, you think you got it under control this time until things get too stressful and you start breaking out again.

It's because we refuse to look in the mirror and deal with our collective crap. Broken people are more exploitable, whole people are a bigger "start up" costs, with unfathomable ROI. But also more trouble for wealth hoarders, and we can't have that.

It's sad how relevant this feels today

I don't think the Catholic Church will be there this time. From my experience they are infected with nationalist ideology which is full of the same divisive talk seen in the video. It's one of the reasons I left.
