Need help identifying a CS skillet

I think this might be a Lodge skillet. However, two things make me question whether it's a Lodge.

First, that emossed 8 looks different from every other Lodge 8 I've seen. And that might mean nothing, and I'm reading too much into it.

Second, its weight. The unknown skillet weighs 2,043g. My modern six-year-old Lodge weighs 2,387g. Wouldn't an older Lodge weigh more?

Can any cast iron experts help me out?

Looks like a 3-notch Lodge from around the 50's, I'm guessing. I have a similar one.

What makes me question that is the 8. The Lodge 8s I've seen have the top and bottom meeting at a point, like the 8 was drawn from a single line. This 8 is a pair of stacked ovals, which I haven't seen on a Lodge. Maybe I'm reading too much into it. 🤷‍♂️

the 3 notch heat ring along with the markings makes it consistent with a Lodge #8 skillet from the 1940's+

I can't make out what the 6 o'clock marking represents it if it's raised from the photo but my money is on a lodge.
