I don’t get the joke, is it because “aye matey” sounds like “eighty”? What about the “ma” part? Not convinced, I’m probably stupid.

Thanks for explaining it... I was confused as well. Figured the joke was that they were gonna dress like a pirate... the actual joke is about the same level of funny tho
