I think human children count as vegan. Like, i couldn't let them go home and tell their village im here, and keeping them in captivity would be a lot of work, and slavery is such a slippery slope.
Power drill with a brush attachment, just pour some water and a bit of soap in, real easy to clean! Also highly recommend an overhead sprayer (restaurant supply store might have one, or at least be able to order one for you) or a showerhead to rinse it out

The problem is the mess it leaves after boiling the children.
Sure, you could have the next batch clean it but by then it’s set in and you’ve got to delay the whole brew while they scrub it out.
